The American Architectural Foundation (AAF) invited me to participate on this panel at the Harvard Faculty Club to discuss the role of technology in architectural practice. The meeting was comprised of academics and practitioners – which was really cool because it seems like events like this are typically monolithic. I was especially interested in the remarks by Elizabeth Christoforetti- an architect and a researcher at MIT. Her work is focused on analyzing new forms of data and translating that information into design, urban design and planning. Call it the “new analytics” similar to what we see in sports.

As for me, I spoke about media- and how television is undergoing radical changes- much like what we are experiencing in architecture. In fact, probably more so.
